Lorelei Lacquer Forever Alone Duo Swatch and Review

Hey y'all! Today on the blog I have a swatch and review of the Lorelei Lacquer Forever Alone duo to share with you. This duo consists of two gorgeous polishes that are full of sparkly goodness! Lorelei Lacquer released this limited edition duo only for the months of June and July and is definitely a must have. Keep reading after the break to see individual swatches of each polish.

Lorelei Lacquer - Lorelei's Tears, 2 coats with topcoat

Macro of Lorelei Lacquer - Lorelei's Tears

The first polish I swatched from the Forever Alone duo is Lorelei's Tears - a gorgeous aqua linear holo with golden fleck running throughout it. The application on this polish was nothing short of superb, gliding on in two thin coats plus topcoat. The linear holo isn't especially strong in this polish but the subtle sparkle of the holographic glitter mixed with the gold fleck is something truly special that I don't have in any other polish in my collection. I can see a lot of use for this alone or as a base for nail art.

Lorelei Lacquer - Faithless Lover, 3 coats plus topcoat

Macro of Lorelei Lacquer - Faithless Lover

The second polish that I swatched from the Forever Alone duo is Faithless Lover. Take just a minute and check out everything going on in this uniquely beautiful glitter topper - from the large magenta and purple holo hex glitter, down to the scattered holo copper micro glitter, this polish really has everything you could want for a super sparkly polish. Faithless Lover can be worn as a topper on any color or alone as I have in my swatch - 3 coats plus topcoat. The formula on Faithless Lover is very smooth and not chunky or goopy as some toppers tend to be. I didn't have to fish for any glitter or fuss with any glitter placement. I can see myself using this polish all the way to the end of the bottle!

I used Faithless Lover in a jelly sandwich a few days after swatching it because it was just so beautiful I had to put it back on. Let me show you a little sneak peak of that mani (I will be showing the full mani at a later date, so stay tuned).
