Swatch and Review: Fancy Gloss Black Heart

Hey y'all! Today on the blog I have a swatch of Fancy Gloss Black Heart to share with you!

I am a new customer for Fancy Gloss. I am always scouting Instagram and Facebook groups to find new brands to try and when I saw someone's swatch of Black Heart, my jaw hit the floor. Let me preface this review by saying that I own very VERY few thermals because its my understanding that they have a shelf life and I have so many bottles of polish that I just know I won't use them before they stop shifting. I knew Black Heart was a thermal and I tried to resist the siren's call but I failed. Once I got this in my grabby claws, I had NO RAGRETS!

Okay, okay. Enough babbling. Let me show you my swatch. The first photo I have is just the plain swatch with no nail art. Formula wise, Black Heart was a bit on the thicker side as it has a very jelly/crelly like consistency. Application was very easy though and I was able to use thin coats despite it being a thicker polish. Each coat self leveled nicely and dried to the touch within 5 or so minutes. My swatch shows two coats plus topcoat.

But I didn't stop there! Of course I didn't. I decided that I needed some sexy black stamping over this gloriously glossy thermal. I picked M Polish Cayuga as my stamping polish so that it would disappear like a magic trick when my hands were cold. I was only able to get a good photo of it during transition because I got busy over the few days I was wearing it and forgot to grab a cold and warm photo. Boooooo...and I call myself a nail blogger. :'D

From what I know about Fancy Gloss, she has scheduled restocks which means that Black Heart isn't currently available but you can sign up for a newsletter on her website to notify you of restocks. She also has a fan group that you can join HERE, and you can follow her on Instagram for news about future restocks and new polishes.

What's your favorite thermal?

  2. I love this!! Fancy Gloss was the first indie I bought from and they were thermals. Two have stopped working but they're glitters and still very pretty!
