Today on the blog, I have a simple mani to share with you. I've been struggling with inspiration but I'm doing my best. Check out these pretty nails I did! Haha.
Let me show you what I used:
I started with a white base - Zoya Purity for the gradient. Once it was dry, I used Meet Me At The Rink and Hot-Hot-Hot Pants by Color Club in a blue to pink gradient. Once it was mostly dry, I added Revlon Holographic Pearls and stamped with M Polish Fresh Perspective. The image is from UberChic plate number 1-03. I used a quick dry topcoat to seal it in once the stamping was dry.
What do you think of this mani? How do you overcome your nail art slumps?
I think this is really cute! I don't do much nail art, so I can't say what I'd do if I was in a slump. :0)
ReplyDeleteThese are very cute! I love the gradient blend colors!
ReplyDeleteArt slumps are tough but inspiration usually turns up again eventually. Sometimes I take a break from nail art and do lists of top 10s so I can get reacquainted with my stash, getting involved with challenges can help because someone else is offering you prompts and ideas and other times looking at other arts forms - fashion, painting, interior decoration makes me think "oooo that would look amazing on nails".
ReplyDeleteThis came out super adorable! love the color choices
ReplyDeleteI think these turned out great!! When I'm in a nail art slump I usually stop, take a break and simply wear a holo or glitter polish for a few days plus Pinterest and Instagram are perfect for inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteI love this! So adorable! I usually hit Pinterest or chat with one of my nail buddies when I lack inspiration. Or I buy more polish :P

ReplyDeletePretty mani! When I'm lacking inspiration I join a challenge or browse Pinterest, they are bound to bring some inspiration. I really admire the ladies that can get inspiration from everyday things; purse, shoes, bedspread, etc.
ReplyDeletePretty! I'm just now getting back into trying nail art more. I've been swatching so much lately that I didn't have time to do anything!
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty! That's a great and useful stamp.
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I love the dots over the look in a bright color!
ReplyDeleteThis is so simple, but I love it! Would make a great accent nail too.
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable. I totally thought the pink was a glitter at first lol.
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute, I love the colors that you picked out. I am also going through a slump with my nail art, here's hoping we both get over it soon.
