Swatch and Review: Lolita Lacquer Dia De Los Muertos Duo

Dias De Los Muertos Duo

Hey y'all! Today on the blog I have some swatches and a review of some products from Lolita Lacquer to share with you today! Mira sent me her Dias De Los Muertos duo to swatch and review. She also sent me two of her Halloween mani bombs to demo and review for you guys. Ready to jump in?

The first polish that I swatched in the duo is Festival - a mixture of matte neon glitters in a black jelly base. This one was very sheer but had a lot of depth as I added each coat. I wound up using 3 coats plus topcoat when I wore it by itself and I could still see my visible nail line so I decided to try to wear it with a black undie. I put down one coat of Zoya Willa as a base and layered two coats of Festival over it. I really loved how it looked over the black undie and would probably wear it that way in the future but I didn't mind how it looked on its own. Visible nail line doesn't bother me as it does some people and I enjoy a polish with some versatility like Festival.

The second polish in the duo that I swatched is Horchata - a gorgeous white polish with green/gold reflect. I REALLY loved this one, it was definitely my favorite out of the two. I wore it here in 3 coats plus topcoat. Doesn't it look just like a pearl? The formula on this one was thicker so it was easy to control. I didn't have any issues with self leveling despite the thicker formula and I was able to apply this in thin coats.

How adorable is this package I got from Lolita Lacquer!?
The entire package I received from Lolita Lacquer was just adorable - she asked me to demo/review the mani bombs pictured above. First impression of these mani bombs is that they were absolutely incredibly cute with the details added - I can't imagine the time it must have taken to add the hand painted details on these! In addition to be darling and perfect for Halloween, they're also really fizzy and moisturizing.
